Elementary music with Mr. Hughes starts Wednesday, September 9th! 

All students grades K-5 will have access pre-recorded weekly music lessons that can be easily accessed at this district-hosted webpage starting September 9th:

• Students and families will find a simple interface that works on both Chromebooks and iPads.
• Weekly grade-level lessons will cover a range of musical concepts, skills, and activities that allow students to work at their own pace.
• 5th grade lessons will be tailored to help students prepare for middle school band and choral electives.

** Two important notes:

• Students must be logged into their district-issued Google account to access the music site.
• There are known issues with K-2 iPad browsers not accessing links. If students are able to use another device, they will need to log in with their district Google account.

About Mr. Hughes - 

Scott Hughes has been teaching music for over 15 years and this is his fifth year in Redondo schools. Although 2020-21 presents a unique set of obstacles for making music together, he's ready for the challenge!  This year, more than ever, he hopes his music classes deliver enjoyable, creative, and restorative learning experiences for students and their families.
