Principal's Message

It has been a busy and exciting summer at Tulita! We are incredibly grateful to our community for your continued support of Measure S, which has allowed us to make important improvements across our campus. While you were away, we were hard at work preparing our school for the year ahead!

Thanks to Measure S funding and the support of our community, we were able to complete or make significant progress on several campus improvements this summer, including:

• Upgraded classroom HVAC systems to help keep our classrooms comfortable
• Roofing and gutter improvements to protect and maintain our school
• Power washing throughout campus to give our school a fresh start for the new year
• New soap and paper towel dispensers throughout the school
• Upgraded IT infrastructure and new buzz-in security systems, which are nearly complete
• A brand-new playground project, with construction scheduled to begin in mid-October!

We are so thankful for a community that continues to invest in our students and our schools. These improvements will make a meaningful difference for our students and staff for years to come.

We are also thrilled to welcome our inaugural Mandarin Dual Immersion Kindergarten and First Grade classes! This is an incredibly exciting milestone for Tulita, and we can't wait to watch this new program grow and become an important part of our school community.

As we begin this new school year, our greatest wish is for a happy, safe, healthy, and successful year for every student. We will continue to build a positive school culture through our PBIS program, RISE with the Tide, encouraging students to Respect Others, demonstrate Integrity & Responsibility, Stay Safe, and give Excellent Effort.

We hope you are as excited as we are for everything this new school year brings. Thank you for being such an important part of the Tulita community.
