Hello Families,

My name is Tracy Kelley; welcome to 5th grade!  I want to welcome your family to the upper grades and a busy, exciting year. Fifth grade is truly a dynamic year. We work hard to pack our year with projects, fun lessons, and lots of wonderful opportunities to show off what students have learned. You will be amazed how much your child grows both physically and academically this year!

I grew up in San Diego, California, received my Bachelor's Degree from UC Irvine and my Master's Degree from University of Nevada, Las Vegas.  I have two boys of my own, Bryce and Collin, who keep me pretty busy. 

I love teaching and believe in the whole child approach; teaching not just academic skills but social and emotional skills as well.  In this classroom we practice positive thinking, being polite and kind, showing gratitude, and following a Growth Mindset Philosophy.
