Keeping in mind each child's needs during and after school are different, as well as every family’s schedule is different, I am very conscious about not overwhelming the students with anything “extra” to frustrate and overwhelm them. I believe that homework should be a time to practice concepts, learn how to manage time, be responsible, and a tool to keep parents included and involved in  their child's  learning. Each week students will have math assignments (practicing concepts that are not new, but concepts that were taught in previous lessons) vocabulary,  and a weekly reading assignment.  The students will be given the assignments on a Friday and have until the following Friday to complete them.
