JOIN WALKING SCHOOL BUS!

 

Walking school bus is an excellent way to get your kids moving and socializing in the mornings! We will be starting up again on Wednesday 4th September!

Please consider signing your child up for one of Tulita’s popular no-cost Walking School Bus routes! We have trained volunteers who safely walk the children to school, enabling kids to have that extra time for socializing in the morning, getting some exercise in at the start of the day so they are awake and ready to learn, reducing car traffic and pollution and yes, you parents get extra time in the morning, for example, to start work a bit earlier. Several parents drive their kids to the start of a walking school bus route so it gives them an extra 30 minutes in the morning. No commitment to walk each week, just walk as often or as little as you would like. And parents are always welcome to walk with us and join the fun!
