Western Night.png

Tulita’s 23rd Annual Western Night Carnival Celebrating Tulita's 60th Anniversary!

Hello Tulita Tidalwave Families!

Western Night was an awesome event! Both the PTA and the PTA’s Western Night committee are still buzzing from the huge success of the all-new 2015 Western Night and we truly believe that we celebrated Tulita’s 60th Jubilee anniversary in style!

We would like to send a special thank you to our own Jerry Wright, “Mr. Jerry”, who helped with this (and all PTA events!) before, during and after. He gave us his time all day Friday and Saturday and stayed at Tulita until the final gates were locked.  Thank you from the PTA and a very special thank you from the Western Night committee for your continuous patience, support and for allowing four women to boss you around, all while keeping a smile on your face!

We would also like to thank Dr. Farzad, Ms. Debbie, Miss Ruth, Natalie Menough, Robyn Toth and Kate McLain for sharing their Western Night expertise and mentoring us throughout the planning stages of this event.

We are grateful for the tremendous amount of behind-the-scenes help received as well as all of the before, during and after volunteer support. Whether you volunteered your time, provided a donation and/or attended the event, we thank you. We have many people to thank; each and every one of whom made this event a success! The collaboration and teamwork created a successful and very fun night.

First we would like to thank our sponsors; the Tulita PTA could not have put Western Night on without your help. Thank you to our PRESENTING SPONSOR, Xavier and Xavier – RE/MAX Estate Properties!

Thank you to the tireless work from the volunteers who supported Western Night during the weeks leading up to the event, volunteered to set up on Friday afternoon and evening and Saturday morning! These amazing people came ready to work and they WORKED!  Fences were strung, stakes planted, banners clipped, tables decorated, game booths set up, hay bales placed, errands ran, countless other tasks completed that “finished” off the set up. Last, but certainly not least, the Western Night committee could not have created this event without the support of their families; thank you to Lewis, Arran, Macy and Edward Macleod; Devin, Brian and Mallory Daly; Joe, Hayden and Maci Salus; Tim, Henry and Talulah Geistlinger; Justin, Dylan, Parker and Miller Leoff; and Adrian, Kaitlyn and Conor Reilly for their continuous support and patience while their wives and moms worked day and night putting this event together.

A few housekeeping details:

We want to extend our apologies for the long lines at the food trucks. Unfortunately the fourth scheduled food truck had to cancel on the morning of the event and the fantastic burger truck lost an oven and fryer halfway through the event. Thank you for your patience.

We do still have some pop-up/EZ-UP tents that need to go back to their owners; please email TulitaPTAWesternNight@gmail.com to arrange a return.

Cheers to Western Night 2016! The Tulita PTA is already looking forward to next year!

Please enjoy some favorite moments from the carnival in the galleries on this page.

Thank you very, very much Tulita Tidalwave’s Families! We appreciate each and every one of you.
