Principal's Weekly Message

Dear Tidalwave Families,

Yee haw! Are you ready for Western Night? This annual event is put together for our community each year by our amazing PTA. I hope to see everyone decked out in their western gear on Friday during the school day and Saturday from 4-8 pm! Bring the whole family, friends, and/or your neighbors and support our PTA! We still need volunteers to help make the event a success, please sign up to help here.  Visit our website or see attached flyer for more information.

This week we will be participating in the Great California Shakeout Drill. More information will come to you tomorrow, however, please know that this drill provides our school the opportunity to practice our safety protocols. The Great CA Shakeout takes place on Thursday at 10:19 am.

Please help our students earn a special assembly making me into a large human ice cream sundae! If we reach our goal of 350 walkers, that is my promise to our students. I encourage our families to sign up for the Skechers Pier to Pier Friendship Walk. Last year our walkers earned $7,500 that went right back to Tulita! We’d love to continue this success. If you can’t join us for the walk, please consider being a virtual walker. Details on how to register are below!

Attention all fathers and father-like figures - we are gearing up to kick-off Watch D.O.G.S. at Tulita with our annual Pizza with Pops night. Please save the date for November 16th at 6 pm. More information to come on this.

Thank you for reading this message thoroughly so you don’t miss any pertinent updates! You can always find my newsletter and any updates on our Tulita website at: http://tulita.rbusd.org/.
